Mr. Thitipat Permpatdechakul, a doctoral student of the Department of Computer Science and Systems Engineering at Graduate School of Computer Science and Systems Engineering, Kyutech, was awarded Best Presentation Award at the 2023 Spring National Conference of the Japan Society for Precision Engineering (JSPE). The conference was held on-site at the Katsushika Campus of Tokyo University of Science from March 14 to 16.
The title of his presentation was "Study on action forces on nanoparticle to a substrate surface using localized remote magnetic field: Estimation of action forces by applying multi-wavelength evanescent fields". This research is focused on investigating femto-Newton action forces on a moving nano-particle near the surface by magnetic field.
