On 22 May 2023, Kyushu Institute of Technology conducts Safety Lectures-2023 on handling of chemical substance for International students online.

Professor Dr. SHYAM SUDHIR PANDEY (Department of Biological Functions Engineering, Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering) gave instructions on how to handle chemical substances with due diligence and take necessary precautions. The lecture also covered carrying out risk assessments for chemical substances in laboratories, considering the recent legal change that has been put into effect this year.

International students from 3 campuses improved the safety awareness and learned chemical substances handling through the lecture.
