Dr. Temuge Batpurev, a researcher of Shibata Lab in the Department of Human Intelligence Systems, Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering received the Best Presentation Award for his presentation and paper at 2021 Joint 10th International Conference on Informatics, Electronics & Vision (ICIEV) and 2021 5th International Conference on Imaging, Vision & Pattern Recognition (icIVPR), an international conference held online from August 16 to 19, 2021.
This research contributes to the study of mouse behavior in the medical and biological fields by presenting a multi-modal framework that automatically cluster social behavior in latent space that can be easily visualized in a single figure by using mice video and sound data.
●Award winner: Temuge Batpurev(Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering, Researcher)
●Presentation title: Automatic Identification of Mice Social Behavior through Multi-Modal Latent Space Clustering
●Supervisor: Professor Tomohiro Shibata, Department of Human Intelligence Systems, Graduate School of Life Science and Systems Engineering
