Kyutech participates in 60th anniversary event of KMUTNB

Kyutech professors and students participated in the 60th anniversary event of King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), in which Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony on March 15, 2019.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of international partnership between KMUTNB and Kyutech. At the opening ceremony, Kyutech professors, Prof. Dr. Teruhisa Ohno (Executive Vice President for International Affairs and University Evaluation), Prof. Dr. Eiji Hayashi, Prof. Dr. Masaki Fuchiwaki, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khajornrungruang Panart, received Royal Tokens from HRH Princess in recognition of their commendable cooperative contributions to KMUTNB.

At the exhibition from March 16 to 18, Kyutech, YASKAWA ELECTRIC (THAILAND) CO., LTD. and Robot Academy of KMUTNB jointly set up an exhibition booth.

When HRH Princess visited the exhibition, she was interested in Kyutech booth and talked with Prof. Hayashi. This moment was taken up in Thai news program.

Besides the exhibition booth, a collaborative international academic forum was held between KMUTNB and Kyutech. Many professors from Kyutech gave the presentation at the forum. In addition, total of 18 students including exchange students from Kyutech joined this event. This collaboration deepened the intimate relationship between the two universities.
