Prof. Edmund Soji Otabe of Kyutech (Department of Computer Science and Electronics) visited Prof. Muhammad Abdus Sobhan, Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University, the second largest university in Bangladesh after Dhaka University, in a courtesy call on March 2, 2019.

Kyutech has concluded an inter-university exchange agreement with Rajshahi University in 2017, and Prof. Otabe visited the former vice-chancellor Muhammad Mizan Uddin. Prof. Otabe reported on the SAKURA Exchange Program in Science adopted for these two years and confirmed the plans for this year. In addition, Prof. Otabe gave the lecture entitled "The role of Japanese university in national development" at Rajshahi University for the reference of university management, and he introduced and explained the lecture to the Vice Chancellor in the courtesy call.
