On April 20, 2026, a delegation from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), including Vice Chancellor Dato’ Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Bin Mohd Sadullah, visited the Tobata Campus of Kyutech.
The delegation also included Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zambri Sakawi, Prof. Dr. Norhisam Misron of the Faculty of Engineering, and Special Officer to the Vice Chancellor Mr. Raja Muhammad Muzamir Bin Raja Mahadi.
From Kyutech, President Takuo Yasunaga attended the meeting, along with Executive Director Masaki Mito (Education), Executive Director Hiroshi Sakamoto (Research), Vice President Tohru Kamiya (International Strategy and Research), Specially Appointed Professor Shojiro Mine, President and CEO of Kyutech ARISE, and Associate Professor Yoshito Ando, Director of MSSC.
During the visit, the two universities reviewed their collaborative activities and achievements, shared updates from each university, and exchanged view on future collaboration. Both sides engaged in active discussions on potential future collaboration, taking into account their respective strengths.
It was confirmed that both institutions will further promote collaboration among faculty members in related fields and work toward the advancement of education and research.
