The Eto Hosoya Memorial Award is awarded by the Futaba Electronics Memorial Foundation to researchers who have made outstanding achievements in both basic research and industrialization of fundamental technologies that have greatly advanced the natural sciences and technology of Japan, and whose achievements are expected to further advance in the future.
