February 19 2024, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) and Kyutech jointly cerebrated the renewal opening of KMUTNB-Kyutech Collaboration Satellite Office at the Center for International Engineering Program (CIEP) of Faculty of Engineering, KMUTNB.
In the Opening Ceremony, President Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Suchart Siengchin of KMUTNB and President Prof. Dr. Yasunori Mitani extended their gratitude to all staff of the both universities and Kyutech Thai alumni in KMUTNB who have been working hard to accomplish the opening of the Satellite Office after the difficult time due to the pandemic.
The Memorandum of Agreement on the Establishment and Management of the Satellite Office was signed by the representatives of both universities. The Stainless Plate was also signed by Prof. Dr. Masaki Fuchiwaki, co-director of the Satellite Office, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittichai Thanasupsin, dean of the Faculty of Engineering KMUTNB, and the both presidents.
After the opening ceremony, the 4th KMUTNB-Kyutech Liaison Committee Meeting was held at the Learning Space of the Satellite Office, to discuss several agendas and new ideas to foster and expand international cooperation between both universities.
On next day at the Learning Space, Kyutech Prof. Dr. Chikamune Wada (Department of Human Intelligence Systems) gave his special lecture to KMUTNB students of the Production and Robotics Engineering Dept.
KUMTNB-Kyutech Collaboration Satellite Office will be the landmark of the strong partnership between two universities where Kyutech visiting staff station, Thai and Japanese students meet and study together, the joint meetings are held, the information of Kyutech program is provided, and various joint events are held.
