At the 10th International Conference of Asian Society for Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology (ASPEN) 2023 held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from November 21st to 24th, 2023, Assistant Professor and the others received Best Paper Award.
A novel positioning technique based on the squeezed-air effect to provide support and fine feed using a table under non-contact conditions was proposed. Experiments have shown that the thickness change of the film and its own weight can achieve positioning on the order of micrometers with non-contact.
